Synopsis
Ce livre se concentre sur la division culturelle des sociétés occidentales modernes. Cette division est profonde et affecte de nombreux domaines sociétaux. La division culturelle n'a pas été produite par Internet, elle est simplement rendue visible par Internet. Alors que la masse des non-électeurs était de peu d'intérêt dans le passé, elle devient maintenant un problème. Les élites politiques ont mélangé manque de participation et manque d'intérêt. L'État de négociation, qui mène des discussions d'experts en arrière-plan, est surtaxé par cette situation. La société progressiste-libérale n'est concevable que comme une démocratie, et la démocratie ne peut être protégée de la démagogie des militants permanents que lorsque l'État crée de nouvelles institutions à cette fin et repense son rôle. La réponse ne peut être que : plus de démocratie, plus de participation et moins d'exclusion grâce à des connaissances expertes. Avant tout, les élites libérales doivent jeter leur idéologie de vérité par-dessus bord et se consacrer sérieusement à l'inclusion sociale de la population.
