The papers collectedin this volume demonstrate the wide interdisciplinary nature of the interest in light scatteringby particles and particle aggregates.Especially various practical aspects were extensively discussed ranging from nanoparticlesembedded in solar cells, effects of anisotropy, modelling the nonlocal effect toscattering by Janus spheres and superellipsoids.The theoretical approaches used to simulate and investigate the mentioned practicalproblems include the Discrete Dipole Approximation, Discrete Sources Method, AuxiliarySources Methods, Finite Difference Time Domain, T-Matrix Method, SuperpositionT-Matrix Method, and the Generalized Multipole method. 128 pp. Englisch.
