Der iranische Theatermacher Reza Abdoh (1963 1995) war für seine groß angelegten, experimentellen, konfrontativen und oft schockierenden Theaterproduktionen bekannt. Als er im Alter von nur 32 Jahren an AIDS verstarb, galt er bereits als eine der bedeutendsten Figuren des amerikanischen Avantgarde-Theaters.
