À propos de l?auteur

ALBERTO GARUTTI (1948–2023) has been a key figure on the Italian and European contemporary art scene of the last forty years. Since the early 1990s, Garutti’s practice has evolved into a radical manifesto for public art. His works in the urban context—commissioned by cities and institutions around the world—are meant to be open devices for reimaging. As a practitioner of public art and a teacher at the Academy of Brera in Milan and at the IUAV in Venice who has influenced many generations of Italian artists, Alberto Garutti is considered one of the most influential Italian artists of his generation.
