Idries Trevathan and Mona AlJalhami  are curators of Islamic art at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran Saudi Arabia. They are responsible for bringing together the exhibition Shatr Almasjid: The Art of Orientation, which this book accompanies.
