Biographie de l'auteur

Mariana Hanstein, née au Chili, a fait ses études d'histoire de l'art à Munich, Bonn et Venise. Historienne de l'art, elle a publié des ouvrages sur Pierre Paul Rubens et la peinture vénitienne du XVIIIe siècle. Elle a également travaillé comme critique d'art et responsable de la section marché de l'art du magazine allemand Die Welt pendant près de dix ans. Hanstein vit et travaille à Cologne.
