Synopsis

Reproductive processes in mammals consist of a series of physiological events: spermatogenesis, follicular growth, ovulation, progestational stage, gestation, parturition and postpartum nurturing, including lactation. In order for offspring to be reproduced effectively, these processes must proceed in the proper chronological order.
