Synopsis
In this publication, Bitesnich travels the world with his camera and, of course, women. Using his unique heavy contrast and atmospheric lighting, he places the female form on vast, arid desert, in rolling water, on moss and in grasses, only to be catapulted into the commercial man-made world: from gas stations to caravan parks and motels. The body within these locations is not always seen in its entirety - he frames lips, an eye, knees, hands and legs. The images are placed randomly within the book giving an engaging interplay to all parts of the female body, be they figurative or abstract.

Born in 1964, the Austrian photographer Andreas H. Bitesnich was awarded the Kodak Photobook Award in 1998. His work is equally appreciated in both the world of art and in advertising. His photos appear regularly in internationally renowned magazines such as Playboy and Max.
