Barbara Hitchcock est directrice des affaires culturelles de la société Polaroid à Waltham, dans le Massachusetts. Elle a été commissaire de plusieurs expositions nationales et fait actuellement partie du Photography Collection Committee des musées de l'université d'Harvard, à Cambridge.
