À propos des auteurs

Eckhard Schneider a dirigé la Galerie municipale de Nordhorn de 1976 à 1989. Il a également travaillé comme directeur commercial et artistique du Kunstverein d'Hanovre et comme directeur de la Kunsthaus Bregenz de 2000 à 2008. Il est actuellement directeur général du PinchukArtCentre de Kiev, en Ukraine.

Ingrid Sischy (1952-2015) était rédactrice pour Vanity Fair. Elle a d'abord été journaliste, critique de mode et de photographie pour le magazine The New Yorker, puis rédactrice en chef de la revue Interview de 1989 à 2008. Elle a composé des portraits, notamment, de Keith Haring, David Hockney, Jeff Koons, Nicole Kidman ou Madonna.

Katy Siegel est professeur associé d'histoire et de critique de l'art à l'Université Hunter CUNY, et collabore à Artforum en tant qu'éditrice. Elle a publié de très nombreux ouvrages et articles sur l'art moderne et contemporain, dont, récemment, des articles pour des catalogues consacrés à Richard Tuttle, Takashi Murakami et Dana Schutz.

Hans Werner Holzwarth est le concepteur et l'éditeur de nombreux livres principalement consacrés à l'art contemporain et à la photographie. Pour TASCHEN, il a notamment dirigé une série d'Éditions collector monographiques dont Jeff Koons, Christopher Wool, Albert Oehlen et Ai Weiwei, mais aussi l'ouvrage SUMO de David Hockney, A Bigger Book, et celui au format XXL sur Jean-Michel Basquiat, et enfin des études dont L'Art moderne et Art Now Vol. 3 et Vol. 4.
