À propos des auteurs

Richard Prince, peintre, photographe et créateur de collage, est né en 1949 dans la région du Canal de Panama. Il est connu comme critique et spécialiste de la culture consumériste américaine. Il vit et travaille actuellement au nord de New York.

Né en 1954 à Roanoke Rapids, Caroline du Nord, Richard Kern vit et travaille à New York depuis 1979. Dans les années 80, il produit une série de court-métrages considérés aujourd'hui comme les oeuvres fondamentales du mouvement connu sous le nom de Cinema of Transgression. Depuis les années 90, Kern se dédie entièrement à la photographie. Très impliqué dans la scène musicale new-yorkaise, il réalise également les clips de Sonic Youth ou Marilyn Manson. Kern a publié neuf ouvrages et collabore à diverses publications internationales.

Dian Hanson a dirigé différents magazines masculins entre 1976 et 2001, dont Juggs, Outlaw Biker et Leg Show, avant de prendre la tête de la collection sexy de TASCHEN. Parmi ses ouvrages, citons la série consacrée aux «parties du corps», mais aussi The Art of Pin-up, Psychedelic Sex et Ren Hang.
