À propos des auteurs

Peter Bastine, né en 1952, a travaillé dans le monde de la musique comme DJ, disquaire et organisateur de concerts. De 1977 à 1998 il a collectionné tous les disques illustrés et se concentre depuis surtout sur les anciens enregistrements 78 rpm. Sa collection, qui rassemble aujourd'hui environ 8.000 vinyles illustrés, a déjà été exposée à plusieurs reprises en Europe.

Alessandro Benedetti a commencé à collectionner les disques en couleur ou hors du commun en 1981. Sa collection, qui compte aujourd'hui 8.000 disques, dont 1.200 vinyles en couleur, est entrée en 1998 dans le Guinness Book des records. Il rêve d'ouvrir un musée du disque afin d'ouvrir cette collection au public.

Le producteur et compositeur Giorgio Moroder a contribué à la naissance de la musique électronique. Il a entre autres travaillé avec Donna Summer, David Bowie, Janet Jackson et Barbra Streisand. C'est lui qui a fondé Musicland Studios à Munich, où des artistes comme Led Zeppelin, Queen et Elton John ont enregistré des sessions mémorables.
