David Hockney (1937–2026) fue un pintor, dibujante, estampador, escenógrafo y fotógrafo británico. Se dio a conocer a principios de la década de 1960 durante el apogeo del pop británico y se trasladó a Los Ángeles en 1964, donde pintó una serie de piscinas.
