A propos du livre

Biographie de l'auteur

Being a young engineer the author immigrated to Australia. A strange country to Europeans, but due to the easy way of living ideal for young blokes being away from home for the first time. Lots of work, lots of money, lots of fun. (Australian girls were attracted by young European blokes.)
Hitch-hiking around the Australian continent, an old guitar around the shoulders, a dismantled rifle in the backpack. 10.000 miles on in red dirt roads sitting on an open cargo space on top of overland trucks.
Night-time camping in the bush cooking on an open fire and sleeping under a mosquito net.
After five years of extensive all-inclusiv-living return to Europe, but all the years longing for this wonderful and strange continent. Since 2003 frequently trips to Australia.
