This book reviews different methods used for iris recognition system. Special emphasis is given to most difficult step in iris biometrics system i.e. iris segmentation. Different methods for four different available databases have been given in detail. Figures will give readers a complete understanding of the concept. Further more, instead of phase, identification is based on bit-plane slicing of the normalized iris.

Biographie de l'auteur

Dr. Abdul Basit has completed his M.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan and UET, Lahore, Pakistan in 1997 and 2001. M.S and Ph.D in Computer Software Engineering from NUST, Rawalpindi, Pakistan in 2004 and 2009 respectively. He is author of more than 25 national / international publications.
