Adolescence is a sensitive period associated with rapid physical change, growing self-esteem and concern over physical appearance. Biographie de l'auteur

Alka S Ahuja, M.D., D.P.M, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Honorary Senior Research Fellow (Cardiff University) and Visiting Fellow (University of Glamorgan). Her areas of research are psychological aspects of physical deformities in children and involvement of young people in healthcare services.
