Development interventions do needs assessments to come up with the real felt needs of the particular community. The fact that they are needs negates the existence of anything to appreciate. The appreciative approach is a powerful tool to implement any intervention in the community. Raphael Michael Ami, MBA-Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute(ESAMI) and Community Development expert. Currently a General Manager of a Microfinance Company in Arusha Tanzania.As a Trainer I have been consulting in the areas of Project Planning and Management and Organizational Development. I am a promoter of Appreciative Inquiry Approach.
