Relations between communes, towns, states and countries are products of human quest to satisfy the needs for subsistence and good life. With the emergence of over 170 independent countries with different historical experiences and characters, such selfish interests have been concealed under trade policies and negotiations through GATT/WTO regime. The base of this international economic cooperation is the desire among nations to streamline various interests through negotiations, agreements and rules in order to eliminate the possibility of confrontations that might lead to such wars like World War 1 & 11.This book explores the fundamental principles that structure these relations and agreements in their pursuit of wealth and international hegemony.
