The internet of things is increasingly growing and more and more devices are connected to the web. Autonomous machines and robots are continuing to emerge into society. This book shows the design and implementation of the basics of building an internet controlled security robot and the possible concepts with further development. This includes a robot having 3 states, autonomously driven for relocation, stationary state for waiting on motion and manually driven over the internet by a video games controller with communication back to the user.

Ronan O'Driscoll, BEng: Studied Electronic Engineering at Dublin City University. A recent graduate(2013) and freelance engineer involving robotic workshops.
