Competency-based measures are increasingly gaining prominence as an important recourse for engendering the professional development of project managers (PMs) in construction management practice. However, very little literature exists in developing countries, particularly those south of the Sahara towards promoting this agenda. Biographie de l'auteur

D.K. Ahadzie,PhD is a Researcher at the Centre for Settlements Studies, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He has published widely in many reputable construction and project management journals. In 2010, he was a consultant to the World Bank for the Ghana Skills and Technology Developments as construction industry analyst.
