As a part of green revolution, large scale use of fertilizers degraded the fertility of the lands and it can be regained by adopting traditional farming methods and by replacing chemical fertilizers with organic manure and bio-pesticides. Dr. R. Karthik Raja has received his Ph. D., degree in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University. He has published several research articles in reputed National and International journals. For his credit he has attended and presented his research findings in many National and International conferences and seminars.
