Explosive growth in wireless technology caused by development in digital and RF circuit fabrications put some serious challenges on wireless system designers and link budget planning. Dual-hop relaying is the promising underlying technique for future wireless communication to address such dilemmas.

Muhammad Adeel Islam and khan Ahmad Shah received MSc radio communication degree from Blekinge institute of technology. Together they worked with dual hop cellular networks and transmit diversity. Their research interests include cooperative diversity networks, space time coding and MIMO techniques.
