Synopsis

Are you interested in how to manage discrete emotions, like fear, anger, jealousy or guilt? The book "Re-Constructing Emotional Spaces" covers the field of both emotional experience and emotional regulation of 9 selected discrete emotions. Three theoretical chapters including the new theory of multi-dimensional emotional experience as well as an interesting overview of the current state of the art supplement the core of the book. Whereas previous books focused on discrete emotions have chiefly discussed the experience of individual emotions, the present compilation aims to shift the discussion from emotional experience to emotional regulation, and to coping with discrete emotions.
