Rowing has been around since the time of the Ancient Greeks. There have been great technological advancements that have changed the working boat to the racing shell. Moreover, the future of rowing equipment lies in the hands of the material scientists. Whatever the next step will be it is certain that the sport will enjoy a long and steady future.

Biographie de l'auteur

Gisli Thorsteinsson, is an Associate Professor at University of Iceland, in the Department for Design and Craft Education. 2011 Gisli finished his PhD from Loughborough University, where he was exploring the value of using Virtual Learning Environment to support ideation in a general school context.
