Cable-stayed can cross almost 1000m (Tatara Bridge, Japan, Normandie Bridge, France) There is still place for innovation in Cable-stayed bridge techniques Here detail study of the cable stayed bridge is done. Historical facts, various components of the bridges, types of the pylon arrangements, type of the cable configuration arrangements has been done to give a brief idea about cable stayed bridge from the various literature surveyed. Cable Stayed Bridge is modeled in SAP 2000. Dynamic analysis in the form of Time History analysis and aerostatic effect has been considered. The Various response quantities (Bending Moment,SF,AF)with varying pylon shape and configuration with varying central span has been compared. Design of some of the component of the Cable Stayed bridge has be done.
