Synopsis

Reading for meaning is a communicative process and involves mental processes similar to those of the other three language skills, that is, activation of relevant knowledge and related language skills to exchange information. Reading comprehension requires motivation, mental framework for holding ideas, concentration and good reading strategies. Morteza Bakhtiarvand got his M.A. (Master of Art) in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) from Research and Science Center of Islamic Azad University of Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Iran, in (2006). He received his B.A. (Bachelor of Art) in TEFL from Islamic Azad University of Dezful,Khuzestan Iran, in (2004).
