Climate change continues to threaten the sustainability of rural livelihoods in Malawi and effective adaptation strategies are tools for rural communities survival. In Malawi the changing climate threatens the performance of the AgricultureSector, fisheries, water and wildlife because of their sensitivity to changing climate. Agriculture sector is heavily affected becuase over 90 percent of the people work on land and the sector constitutes a bigger share of the Malawi's economy.

John Mussa Paul, a Development Practitioner and Researcher has a Masters degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education obtained at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Mzuzu University, MALAWI respectively. He currently works at MANERELA+ as Programs Manager (HIV/AIDS and Livelihoods)
