Mathematics plays an important role in a society which is saturated with technological and statistical information. Simon Vurayai is lecturer in the Department of Educational Foundations at Great Zimbabwe University. He holds a Masters degree in Sociology of Education. His areas of research interest are curriculum studies, gender, poverty, ethnic and migration studies, crime and criminology.
