This publication is a culmination of various aspects of real testing of a excavator cabin for its operational performance,failure modes and further on to look into the feasible changes to the cabin structure to bring effective changes for making the cabin more dynamically stable and improve its field worthiness. The author has put his good efforts to bring his vast experience from instrumentation, testing, analysis, FE based estimation and its correlation with test results into its good technical understanding in the form of this publication.
