The current book focuses on climate change in Nepal. Climate change is the global challenge of our time for sustainable development whose impact is of great concern to humanity. In Nepal we are already starting to become aware of recent changes in our climate and the implications this is having for our society and our environment. Although Nepal has a negligible share in the global emissions of greenhouse gases, it is more vulnerable to climate change impact due to its fragile mountain ecosystems. A study entitled “Climate Change Impacts on and its Adaptation Strategies of Rural Community of Krishnapur VDC in Mohana Sub-watershed, Kanchanpur District” was carried out in Krishnapur VDC adjoining Mohana River in Kanchanpur district of Nepal, to assess people's understanding on climate change, identify its impacts on their rural community and document how they are coping with those impacts.
