Synopsis

This book is the outcome of a research project that aims to identify the conditions and criteria required for the successful establishment of a cloud-service sector in Malaysia. I think my work on the field has provided a fresh perspective on Malaysia with respect to the state of its readiness, competencies, drivers of competitiveness and relative projects which determine industries’ competitive position in offering cloud computing services and facilities. Issues for Malaysia’s competitiveness in cloud computing and recommendations from industry opinion leaders in assisting the development of cloud ecosystem in Malaysia are also discussed in this book.

I am Amir Haghbin Shomali, and I was born in 1982, Tehran, Iran. I am a Telecommunication Engineer and an MBA - specialized in Information Technology Management. My area of interests are: Cloud Computing, Web-based Enterprise Solutions, Mobile Computing, IT Governance, Information Systems & Management and Business Intelligent Systems.
