The objective of this book is to develop a model and an algorithm to design a multiple effect evaporator(MEE) system with vapor compression and without vapor compression. To achieve the target a model based on nonlinear equations is developed to design the Septuple effect falling film evaporator (SEFFE)system to concentrate black liquor from paper industry. For the designed system,the live steam requirement is evaluated without any vapor compression as well as with vapor compression.
