Brushless direct current (dc) motors serve as an important tool in flywheel energy storage systems. Thus, finding techniques that improve their performance will enable efficient flywheel energy storage capabilities. The motor is coupled to a flywheel and storing energy from solar panels.

Biographie de l'auteur

Runyararo C C Dikinya studied at the University of Cape Town where she attained a BSc Mechatronics Degree in 2011. She took an interest in renewable energy which led to her study of flywheels and how they store energy.
