Machines have become integral part of the human life, safety measures on these machines is not effective and hence industrial safety is still a concern, in spite of existing safety system. Industry needs a system which is easy to adopt and also least fault occurring. This book is about a solution for the industry needs, which proposes a safety mechanism with improved response time on industrial machineries based on PIR sensor. Here it is implemented in power press machine; this can be applied to wide variety of industries at different scales small, medium, big sized machines. In this book, a prototype is developed which resembles the ideas of the PIR Sensor based safety mechanism at smaller scale.The novel idea discussed here will be helpful for the industries to setup the safety mechanism for their machines that will be economical and reliable.

He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Panimalar institute of Technology, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His area of interest includes embedded system ,sensor application.
