Synopsis

Change is a process that is present during the entire life cycle of any project evolving in correlation with life cycle phases. However, the interdependence between the Change Process and the Life Cycle of the Project is highly affected by several factors such as: the project delivery method, the design process, overall method of management, and more important by the change management process tutelage. As stated by a famous political leader “I think the time has come for us to consider, in the light of our experiences at this day at home, whether the methods which we have applied so far are adequate”.Therefore, I invite you to investigate the contemporary development of the change management process from an integrative life cycle perspective on projects, in order to determine how the management of change can provide sustainability during the entire project life cycle. As professionals, one of our objectives for a sustainable development is to rise the industry awareness towards the benefits of whole life-cycle thinking and integrative management of projects.

Biographie de l'auteur

Dragos Mircea, B.Arch. MSc., PhD.c: holds a MSc. degree in the Management of Projects at The University of Manchester and has graduated a 6-year B.Arch. at the University Politehnica of Timisoara. Currently a Ph.D. candidate in the field of the sustainable development of projects; Architect at Project Administration Services s.r.l., Timisoara.
