Chris Parker wurde 1976 in Montgomery, Alabama (USA) geboren und wanderte mit seiner Familie im Alter von vier Jahren nach Deutschland aus. Nach einem Auslandspraktikum als Jugendarbeiter in den USA studierte er hierzulande Sozialpädagogik und Germanistik. Heute lebt er als Übersetzer und freischaffender Schriftsteller in seiner Wahlheimat Bonn, wo er seinen Debutroman DIE ERLÖSUNG schrieb.
