À propos des auteurs

Markus Kramer, is a collector and specialist on the photographic work of Thomas Ruff and his artistic circle. After Thomas Ruff. Modernism (2011) and Photographic Objects (2012), his third book is now being published by Kehrer Verlag.

John Baldessari (b.1931) attended San Diego State University and did post-graduate work at Otis Art Institute, Chouinard Art Institute and the University of California at Berkeley. He taught at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA from 1970 - 1988 and the University of California at Los Angeles from 1996 - 2007.

Marcel Broodthaers (1924 - 1976) was a Belgian poet, filmmaker and artist with a highly literate and often witty approach to creating art works.

Alice Channer (b. 1977) is a British sculptor based in London. Known for her sculptures and mixed media works that explore our relationship to objects, Channer uses materials ranging from metal and concrete to textiles and paper. Channer's work has been shown internationally.

Jan Dibbets (b. 1941) is an Amsterdam-based Dutch conceptual artist. His work is influenced by mathematics and works mainly with photography.
