A book about Marc Camille Chaimowicz's 1972 artist's installation at Gallery House, London and its revival in 2000. Chaimowicz first created Celebration? Realife as a 'sensuous' installation in an old ballroom. The space was filled with mirror balls, fairy lights, fancy dress, cheap beads, mirrors, a bust of Beethoven and other kitsch. The installation was recreated in 2000 in London and Dijon. The book is packed full of photographs, drawings, diagrams, text and ephemera. Beaux Books specialises in fine and rare books on art and culture in the 20th and 21st centuries. We welcome questions about our books and we are happy to provide any extra images.
