SEIDIGE SÜNDE MEHR ALS NUR EIN HALSTUCH: DAS OFFIZIELLE BUCH ÜBER DIE CARRÈS VON HERMÈS. Jedes Carré von Hermès ist viel mehr als nur ein Halstuch, bildet es doch eine wunderbare Erzählung ab, die erst von seiner Trägerin oder seinem Betrachter entdeckt werden will. Bereits 1837 begann die Geschichte des Pariser Traditionshauses, welches durch die »Kelly Bag« und die »Birkin Bag« berühmt wurde. Und die Trägerin der Hermès-Bags schmückte sich auch gern mit einem Carré, das seinen ersten Auftritt im Jahre 1937 hatte. Bis heute entstanden rund 2000 wundervolle Designs. Besitzt man eines, verspürt man den magischen Wunsch nach einem weiteren Carré, nach weiteren Geschichten. Seit zwei Jahren gibt es zum Seidencarré auch das Carré Fluid aus Seidenjersey, bei welchem das Edelmaterial gestrickt wird, was es griffiger macht. Jedes Carré Fluid erzählt genauso wie die Seidencarrés aus der Welt der Pferde, vom Reisen, von der Musik Ab sofort gibt es die Hermés-Geschichten in Buchform: »Le Carré Hermès«. In drei Kapiteln werden die quadratischen Kunstwerke auf verspielte Art und Weise erzählt: das Haus Hermès und seine Begegnung mit der Seide, die Welt der Formen und Muster sowie die Philosophie der Farben. Das Buch ist ebenso aufwendig gestaltet, wie es die Tücher des Hauses seit den 1940er-Jahren sind. So sieht der Betrachter mal nur einen Ausschnitt, mal ist das Design transparent, gezoomt oder verdreht und immer blicken wir unter die seidene Oberfläche.
