PLOT#7 is named PAPERIFIC! and is dedicated to spatial visions made of paper. The designers featured in this issue not only put their visions on paper but also developed paperific worlds, they implemented a transformation from the two-dimensional sketch to three- and four-dimensional productions respectively and used paper as scenographic element in various ways. And with good reason: Hardly any material allows such versatile applications, is so flexible in its handling, so cost-effective when purchased, and, to top it all off, so perfectly recyclable. That is why PLOT#7 will show an exhibition made of cardboard, an installation of Post-its, a stage set put to the real test, as well as creative applications of coloured paper, which are either used as a film set or shop window decoration. Our essay about manufacturing techniques of this material and the review of the paper-visionary Ron Resch round off the subject.
