Dr. Manfred Winterheller is an internationally successful lecturer, entrepreneur, coach and author. His philosophy and methods form the basis of everything he does – on and off the stage. This is why his presentations stem from a unique authenticity and internal energy, and why he is in demand worldwide. In 2005 he was named Speaker of the Year by the Austrian Institute for International Research. Dr. Winterheller’s background is in classical business administration education as well as tax advising. His book on short-term business planning is a standard work and is required reading at many universities. For his contributions in the development of business administration education, he was named honorary professor of the Alpen-Adria University in Klagenfurt (Austria) and honored with a guest professorship at the Donau University in Krems (Austria). In 1988 he founded WINTERHELLER Software GmbH and developed the planning and budgeting software called Professional Planner – software found by users to be amazing in a variety of ways. With his internationally successful business, Dr. Winterheller demonstrated the realizability and relevance of his leadership and management philosophy, and was honored for this in 2003 by the European Commission with the Great Place to Work Award for being the best employer in Austria and one of the 10 best employers in Europe. This combination of science and theory along with practical implementation lends a unique authenticity to his presentations. The family run business with offices in multiple European countries was successfully sold in 2011. Since then Dr. Winterheller has concentrated entirely on his lecturing, coaching and writing; all of these activities are consolidated under WINTERHELLER management GmbH.
