The Author : Beth Linklater is a lecturer in German at Oxford Brookes University. She studied at The University of Leeds, Lancaster University and the Martin-Luther-Universität in Halle-Wittenberg, completing her Ph.D. on sexuality in GDR literatures in 1996.
