Dr. Constanze Nüsperling spent the first eight years of her career working for Accenture and A.T.Kearney, focusing on outsourcing and Shared Services. She then moved to industry: first to Pitney Bowes, the mailing services provider, then to UCB (biopharma) in Brussels, and since 2015 to Clariant, the Swiss specialty chemicals firm. For all companies, Constanze Nüsperling has been primarily responsible for designing and managing Global Business Services rollout from start to finish. The author is passionate about finding the best ways to improve process efficiency and deliver additional business value from GBS by evolving it over time. Since 2020, she has been Head of Global Business Services at US-based specialty chemicals group Avient. Constanze Nüsperling holds a B.A. in International Relations and a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She lives in Switzerland with her family.
