Human Parade is a literary campus novel about the ways institutions fail people while following their own rules, filling forms, meeting minutes, informal jokes, missed deadlines, and well-meaning gestures that arrive after the door has already closed, too little, too late.

The reader sees more than any single character: a rumor repeated but never sourced, a poster with a QR code, a drawer full of unactioned complaints, a photograph of a corkboard, a badge never corrected. The pattern is the antagonist.
