Synopsis

Sieh mich an! ist eine Fallstudie zur Fortentwicklung und zum Generationsübergang von privaten Sammlungen am Beispiel der Sammlung Hanten-Schmidt. Das Ehepaar Klaus F. K. Schmidt und Sasa Hanten-Schmidt er Privatsammler, sie beruflich im Kunstbetrieb tätig und eine Generation jünger hat sich für diesen Prozess gegenüber Kuratoren, Kritikern und Weggefährten geöffnet. Sasa Hanten-Schmidt vollzieht die Genealogie der eigenen Sammlung nach und beschreibt den Weg zur bewussten Entscheidung, eine gemeinsame Sammlung zu entwickeln und in die Zukunft zu führen.
