Synopsis
Sabine’s culinary skills are a feast for the senses. With her keen sense of smell, she creates flavors that regularly take her restaurant guests on emotional journeys. But one day, the past catches up with her. When she runs into her former rapist again, feelings of revenge well up inside her. Sabine wants justice and decides to “finish him off” through her cooking. But it won’t be her last murder. À propos de l'auteur
Andreas Breidert, born in Darmstadt in 1981, is an avid reader, wordsmith, and a carnival enthusiast deeply connected to his homeland. His first three books, all local crime novels, written in the South Hessian dialect, were awarded the artist prize of the “Spirwes Darmstadt Prize for Maulkunst & Lebensart“ in 2017. A restaurant visit inspired Breidert to open himself up to the thriller genre and to forge new literary paths with The Last Meal (Das letzte Gericht). The author lives in the Rhine-Main area and has been working as a financial controller for several years.
