À propos de l?auteur

Marine Schneider est une jeune illustratrice belge. Elle a suivi des études d'illustration à Gand, où elle a développé une véritable passion pour les livres illustrés. Inspirée de ses voyages, les lointains et les tout proches, et ses années en Norvège, elle raconte des histoires avec des mots et des images, en jonglant avec les couleurs des nombreux supports qu'elle exploite.Elle a illustré trois albums de l’autrice norvégienne Elisabeth Helland Larsen, Jeg er Døden, Jeg er Livet et Jeg er Klovnen (Je suis la mort, Je suis la vie et Je suis le clown, à paraître en 2019 chez Versant Sud Jeunesse). Son univers graphique, déjà très construit, riche et délicat, est un véritable enchantement. Hiro, hiver et marshmallow est le premier album qu'elle a écrit.

About the Author

Reif Larsen is a bestselling author, with books like The Selected Works of T. S. Spivet translated into more than 27 languages. Larsen's essays and fiction have appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Travel + Leisure, and The Believer. Larsen is currently living in Troy, New York State, and hosts an event series and podcast named Future of Small Cities. This is his second children’s book.

Marine Schneider is a Belgian illustrator. A traveler at heart, she loves wandering through vast and preferably snowy landscapes, that inspire her and nourish her stories. Beginning her career with Life and I: a Story about Death, and I am Life, both published by Little Gestalten, she worked on several projects, ranging from books for babies to books for older children. She lives and works in Brussels.
