À propos des auteurs

Lili Almog b. 1961, Tel Aviv, lives and works in NYC and is renowned for her intimate spiritual portraits of women's cultural identities around the world. Lili moved to New York in the mid 80's and began her career as a photojournalist centering and developing her artistic focus on revealing the state of spiritual and cultural identity amongst the women influenced by western culture; using photography, video, and installations.

Vered Tohar is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of the Literature of the Jewish People at Bar-Ilan University. Her research focuses on Jewish traditional narratives from a diachronic and comparative perspective.

Jean Dykstra is the editor of photograph magazine and an art critic who writes regularly about photography. She has contributed essays to numerous exhibition catalogues and books on photography, including, most recently, Running Falling Flying Floating Crawling (2020, Saint Lucy Books), Walter Chandoha: Dogs: Photographs, 1941-1991 (2020, Taschen), and A Trilogy by Jessica Backhaus (2017, Kehrer Verlag).
