Here, five artists (Gabriel Rico, Taus Makhacheva, Yuichiro Tamura, Liu Chuang, Danh Vo) research and collect history and resources, adding modern technologies to the mix as they attempt to rework things in ways that transcend time. Based on an exhibition of the same name at the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art, this book explores the future potential of museums as places for practicing cultural representation.
