Memetics is the science of revealing meme as basic ingredient forming certain person mentality. Distinct from other organisms, human has ability to replicate the mentality into various cultural artifacts—e.g. arts, literature, and religion. It has similar work with gene which replicates into set of cells and reproductive body. Memetics is used by scientist for understanding certain person development related cultural circumstances. It is applied as valued work more effectively to identify human cultural aspect development. If genetics is the science of gene, so memetics is the science of meme. Analogue to virus, meme has life cycle and spreadable infecting one thought to another. For understanding meme we should make analogy to gene’s work. Gene replicates constantly for securing its replication survivability. Meme has similar ways, specifically in the level of idea and value. Meme(s), according to Dawkins, competes to each other for eternal life. Analogous to gene, meme will goes through strict selection. The failed meme will extinct meanwhile the survived one will have longer life, even considered eternal.
